My yoga journey started in 2003 when I walked down a street in Chiswick and saw a group of yogis through the window. I was fascinated by the impressive shapes their bodies were making. A few days later I was in the same studio where my introduction to yoga began with a hot and sweaty Bikram yoga class. As time passed, I moved on to the other styles of yoga but it was not until 2008 when yoga became much more than just stretching the body. After being diagnosed with a serious illness my life turned upside down. Having treatment made me bed bound for most of the time and exhausted my body. I started my path of recovery with gentle yoga, pilates and Qi Gong classes. As I was getting stronger my fascination with movement grew through the exploration of contemporary dance, ballet and acroyoga.
I am particularly drawn to vinyasa flow and my classes focus on exploring the capabilities of our bodies through movement. While teaching I use the knowledge I gained during my Thai massage practitioner training that I completed with Mudita Thai Yoga Massage School in London under the guidance of Ralf Marzen. I encourage my students to be inquisitive practitioners, to explore the effect of breath on their movement patterns, discover effortlessness in flowing through the sequences and ultimately attaining meditation in motion. I teach group, private and corporate classes.

I started learning Yoga well in to my 60's, after I was advised to refrain from my usual vigorous and high impacted exercises!
